In my opinion, women are most beautiful when they are pregnant! To me, it is a sure sign of God’s presence because well, how can you hear a second heart beat coming from your own body and not think that something divine is occurring? And then later, as your child develops, taking on features from both father and mother, His creativity once again is evident! Oh, and we can’t forget those little personalities they develop that you are sure came from only your spouse, of course– my friends, I believe He has a sense of humor too.
I’m learning that maternity sessions might be my favorite, aside from weddings, to photograph as they represent the ultimate reason we are put upon this Earth. Children. I believe my photographic talent is God-given, thus I want to utilize it as best I can to return the thanks.
Last weekend, I had the pleasure to photograph some dear friends who are expecting their first child. Nikki is a friend of mine from high school, and through her, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know her husband Jay, who is probably one of the funniest fellas I’ve ever met! After a fun little baby shower that day in Greenville, SC we made our way over to Spartanburg for some photos.
Jay and Nikki, little Jordyn is one lucky little girl to have you guys as parents! I can’t even fathom the personality she will bring into your household coming from you two. LOL Thank you for allowing me to document this special occasion in your lives!
