Chapin, SC Wedding: Deena + Hannon

Weddings

29 Apr

They were raised in the same town; they went to the same high school, and then the same college. And… about five more years passed after that before the magic happened. Deena and Hannon, I know you are basking in the sun on some beach, but know that I enjoyed documenting your day! Enjoy your sneak-peek; many more FAB images to come 🙂

Deena’s dress was spectacular! I mean for someone who wanted a plain– no frills, no lace, no sequin, no train– dress, she did a pretty good job selecting one. Don’t you think?

Deena is my kind of gal. If you follow my blog at all, you know trees are. my. favorite. Hers is the Flowering Cherry which she incorporated into her details. Guests even left the reception with one of their own as their favor! I’m telling you– my kind of girl!

Her parents even own a tree farm. Unfortunately, due to rain, we weren’t able to work in group photos at the farm. This is where Deena was proposed to.

Loved his neclace! This was in the reflection garden at the church.

And yes, I’m a dork. This is a picture of a picture.

Deena, seriously, you were stunning… and I have the picture of Hannon’s first look to prove it! MANY thanks to my fabulous second shooter, HMK, for capturing these images!

And… the first dance. Makes me melt every time I see it! They adore each other!

The neatest part of photographing this wedding I think, was that I was asked to venture to their home down the road from the reception to photograph Deena with her pups. And while I was there, was able to photograph Hannon carrying her across the threshold. SWEET! This was the very last image taken that day; and by far, one of my favorites!

Love you guys! Stay sweet ;o)

Stay in the know!

A couple weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to be able to get away for a couple days with my grandma, mama, and two of my aunts! Such a blessing!!! 💜 We perused the beach for shells and at night played the game ‘Taco, Goat, Cat, Cheese, Pizza’ (there were only two games provided in the house 🤣); all of us came away with some type of bruise. 🤣 We also had the Stone family famous shrimp ‘n grits for breakfast one morning! This trip was such a treasure!

These fellas had a heckuva start to their fishing tournament season this past Saturday. 😅 First, their typical boat captain was under the weather, so had to play switch-a-roo on boat *and* captain. Then, about 11am during the tournament the boat they were in broke down, leaving them only the section of the lake they could access with the trolling motor. Thankfully, a fellow team boat captain (and our church pastor!) was able to return his anglers to weigh-in, then make the run across the lake to snatch up these two fellas and get them to the dock in time for weigh-in. SHEW Y’ALL! 😅😵‍💫 They still managed 4 of the 5 fish limit with 10.04 lbs. 🙌
