Turning 40 is something else. I sat right here contemplating what my next 40 (God-willing) would look like, and to be honest, I’ve never really been able to envision the future anyways, so I don’t know why I even tried. 🤣🤷‍♀️ Life has always been one big adventure to me, with so many unknowns ahead- so I try to just let go and let God! That is harder to do than it sounds though. 😅 I do like a plan; but, I did marry a man who reminds me just about every day when I’m in a tizzy because my plan isn’t panning out, that there’s no use in making plans because plans just change. 🧐😆🤦‍♀️

Man, life is funny. And fabulous! I’m thankful for everyone of you and I pray blessings over you all tonight! 🙏

How on earth did I just turn 40? 😳 It seems just like yesterday I was looking at my 1st grade self in the mirror dreading “all them years it will take to get to 12th grade.” 🤣🤣🤣

We hiked into the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness yest

We hiked into the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness yesterday! One thing that crossed my mind that might would alarm me back home (😅🤣), but didn’t at all here was… the hikers we passed on the trail had pistols strapped to their chests (including one of us).

It was a 5.5 mile hike (roundtrip) with 2 BEAUTIFUL glacial lakes along the way!!! 😭😍 I didn’t prepare properly and have my swimsuit with me, because I surely would have taken a refreshing dip! I thought about my birthday suit, but decided against it since the water was crystal clear. 😅🤪😆 Stepping my feet in had to suffice. 🙄

We wore our little hiking buddy, Max, out. He put in double the miles running back and forth between all of us on the trail. So when we stopped to pick huckleberries, he crashed. 🥰

We are so blessed with such amazing friends in the treasure state!!! #SC💜MT

Today we ventured out to yet another Montana lake

Today we ventured out to yet another Montana lake with a different group of friends! We realize that we are *beyond* blessed. 💜 Lake Koocanusa didn’t disappoint. We jumped off rocks, swam, and tubed! And G finally conquered his fears of jumping off high rocks and falling off of a tube. lol At one point there may or may have not been children flying all through the air. 😬😅
