Reflecting on 2011, I am most gracious to the very talented and OH so sweet Courtney Dox for allowing me to second shoot with her for a couple of her weddings! Not only was I able to snag some awesome images for my portfolio, but I was able to observe her in action which was a wonderful learning opportunity for me as I’m a very visual learner. I love to second shoot weddings; they allow me the coveted time with my son at this point in my life as a working, stay-at-home-mommy. There are so many memories I want to make with him while he is still home with me and not in school yet! Second shooting allows me this time with him since I simply hand over my images to the main photographer that night, un-edited (YIKES. lol), and I don’t have to worry with them any more for that wedding. It also allows me to practice techniques I’m steadily educating myself about, thus I’m continually growing in what I l.o.v.e to do!!! So, thank you Courtney for entrusting me to represent your business!
