Meet Morgan! She is a senior at Lexington High School this year and I was so priveledged to be able to work with her and her sweet family through every aspect of this session! Morgan contacted me back during the summer inquiring about my investment and not realizing until later, but we sit right in front of her and her family at church! HA My family has been back in this area of SC for a little over 3 years now and it took us a little while to settle into a church family here, so we are still getting to know some folks. BUT… I found out during the session, that my son is quite the little ham; Morgan mentioned how he “flirts” with her and her grandmother every Sunday when he’s turned around in the pew apparently. LOL!
Morgan’s grandparents own a farm in Lexington and we were able to utilize it for the session, which I’m SO glad about because, well, just look how gorgeous of a location it is!!! Morgan is also very active with the youth group at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and wanted to incorporate the church into some of her session! One of Morgan’s hobbies is actually photography, and she is VERY active on the yearbook staff at school. In fact, she designed the cover of the yearbook shown in some of the photos below! Upon graduation, she will be attending the University of South Carolina (I’ll forgive her. hehe had to throw that in!) for 2 years where she will be majoring in exercise science and after that she plans to prepare for gamsat prep in Australia where she wishes to finish her medical school.
Congratulations Morgan! I wish you all the best in the new journey that is before you!
Let me introduce Conner now; he has been a major part of Morgan’s high school years so we couldn’t leave him out of photos, now could we?!?! Absolutely not!
Morgan also had a special request upon our initial coorespondence. When she was 4 or 5, she had her photos made at the farm and there was one photo in particular that her mother cherishes dearly. She sent me a snapshot of the one framed in their home and asked if we could replicate it?! I think YES!!!
Morgan’s yearbook cover design and the page she is flipped to in the next photo was also her design; so awesome!!!
And lastly, I can’t leave without telling you this story: after our time spent at the farm, we mosied over to the church. I knew we were pushing daylight, but I also knew we were just fine for a couple of setups at the church. Well… for the following setup, God showed up and showed OUT! It was PERFECT timing for Morgan. Notice the steeple. Ladies and gentlemen, there is absolutely, positively NO post-production in photoshop or whatever in ANY way; that was all God’s perfect timing for this sweet young lady and her family that have such a rich history with serving God and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church!!! Amen, and AMEN!
