Our boy is ALMOST five!!! (HOW does this HAPPEN???) So, this week I dedicated a little mini-session to capturing him while he’s still officially FOUR YEARS OLD! Suuuuure I have many, many photos throughout his fourth year, but none that were specifically a “photo session”. And so, here you have it. I ran across this shirt at Target back in January or so, and thought how PERFECT it would photograph on my little red-head!!! Yes, I think long and hard about clothes purchases for him; I have to make sure they will photograph well! LOL (Confessions of a photographer mom.) Next… I sporadically ran across this AWESOME location and sought out the landowners via my family in the area (thank you all!!!). I’m so thankful for God’s beautiful creation; even if wisteria is a nuisance, invasive species of plant. It’s beautiful and IT. SMELLS. SO. GOOD!!! Being honest again here… it took probably about 1,345 frames to capture these few pictures of him, but it was soooo worth the shutter actuations! 😉 (only kidding on that number, but it was a lot!) I was pretty much having to play simon says with him. “Simon says, ‘look at the road’. Simon says, ‘make donkey noises’. Simon says, ‘look at the camera’. ‘Make donkey noises at the camera.’ HAHAHA” Ok, ok. You get the drift. I don’t care what anyone says, photographing children is the hardest thing to do EVAH. Oh… and I even let him transform himself into his favorite ninja turtle characters for a few pictures if he promised “to do pictures for mommy”! 😉 Enjoy all the cuteness below; cuteness overload!
