I tell myself each week,”you need to do a blog post”… I promise I do! I then convince myself that I don’t have a thing to blog about but random stuff and so I don’t do it. But this week is different. Let’s see how random I can be?!?!
I’m headed to the PapertoPrint workshop in Nashville, TN this weekend with my friend and fellow photoggie HMK. Totally stoked! :0)
Gus FINALLY said mama this week 🙂 Well it was actually something like this, “ma ma ma ma ma ma ma” as he was crying. That counts right? AND he slept through the night for the first time Thurs. night, but went right back to the same routine Friday night. lol. AND he turned 8 mths old Friday 🙁 HOLY cow. This can’t be. I have an 8 mth old! This truly has been the best 8 mths of my life. I never imagined having a child around could be so rewarding; seriously. He makes me smile constantly!
I can’t remember if I blogged about my interview with Carrie Workman :/ eek. Yeah, I had a wonderful meeting with her right about the time we were in transition from TN to SC so everything has run together in my mind. She is da bomb 🙂 She has two precious little girls, a home studio, and runs a successful photography business (with employees, interns, etc.), all while maintaining her sanity 🙂 I admire this in her. I don’t want to miss out on my little man’s babyhood so after the year mark, I plan to get down and dirty with my biz.
I’m ready for Spring! Loved the snow, but I’m ready for some flowers.
It’s tax season and I’m scared. When do I have time to find an accountant? First I have to file all my papers, figure out my expenses, and find all my personal papers to file which are in a box somewhere still from the move. OH my.
I am blessed in that the months of April, May, and June are totally booked… and with weddings. Woohoo. I love photographing weddings, but they scare me to death at the same time. So… my first bridal shoot is coming March 13 on Clemson University’s campus! You all KNOW I’m excited about that one! 🙂 Booked and thankful, but stressing already. Why Charlotte, why?
Discovered my little Gus won’t take a bottle anymore. EEK. What to do? What to do? This is not a good situation being that he will have to stay with the grandparents on the weekends I am photographing weddings. I like things all natural; guess he does too! LOL We are working on this.

Totally understand the blog thing. Right now, I'm getting a blog make-over so hopefully after I get it made over. I can at least blog 2 or 3 times a week.

Savana has one of those little doggies. Her's is Violet and I know all the songs by heart!! I want a dog, please it's my favorite animal. I want it to be purple, please it's my favorite color. I could go on, but I won't!
J finally gets out of the Barney stage into something a little more hip hop and then I get to do Barney all over again! :o)
