Each year the College of Hospitality Retail and Tourism Management at the University of South Carolina (USC) reward one lucky couple with a no-cost wedding if the couple agrees to surrender all the planning over to the students. 2012 was the first year I had even heard of this; and when contacted to second shoot with another local photographer, I was more than willing to become part of this! “Giving back” with my talents has been on my mind so much this year, so naturally I jumped on the chance to help out! I am simply blown away at the love this community bestowed upon this couple! And what a beautiful wedding they had!!! Many thanks to Ashley Uhl Photography for having me on as your second shooter! The wedding and reception all took place at the Inn at USC in Columbia. It was a gorgeous setting no doubt! Consult with Island Event Planners if you are planning a wedding too.

Everything was donated for this event. And I mean EVERYTHING! Here is the bouquet, part of the beautiful job done by the florist. Wish I would have written down who it was so I could link to them! eek.
Now… I’ve seen some sharp groomsmen in my day, but these fellas… well, judge for yourself! Simply Ah-dorable!!! And so fun to photograph!!!
Now, Ryan and Emily have actually been married for a couple of years, just never had a traditional ceremony. On this day, they renewed their vows to one another and were just as much in love as some of the ‘newlyweds’ I’ve photographed! VERY deserving couple for sure. I just loved them!

Now… I’ll just say here that I can’t believe my camera didn’t break after taking this shot. LOL Only kidding. While my blood runneth orange (Clemson fan at heart to all my non SC readers), I guess it wouldn’t have been a complete USC Love Story without Cocky gracing us with his presence!
