With Thanksgiving Day approaching, we’ve been considering our ‘SC plans’ for this year. The first bump in the journey is– how will we get to SC? We HATE driving through Atlanta and if we have to journey via interstate, we prefer the I-40 route East, which… is closed due to a massive rock slide in NC. But our normal path of choice is Hwy 64 from TN into NC which is now– closed, due to a massive rock slide. Gees. Guess we are headed to Atlanta or north to Johnson City and then down, or the winding journey through Tellico Plains. Check out this video of the Hwy 64 slide.
