Ahhhh! I. am. SO. EXCITED. to share this beautiful Cypress Garden’s engagement session with y’all! This gorgeous place is located in Moncks Corner, SC and I CANNOT believe I have never been there before?!?!!! GAH! Well, when prompted for “location ideas” for their engagement session, Emily and Zach were very interested in possibly incorporating Live Oaks and Spanish Moss into their engagement session. Being that I’m located in Lexington, SC we don’t have much of that to choose from around here, but after asking around with family and doing vast internet searches, I discovered the Cypress Garden’s!!!!! I mean, WHO wouldn’t want their engagement photos to be at the same location that the “boat scene” from the movie The Notebook was filmed?!?! So after sending Emily and Zach a few location ideas, we unanimously decided on this location, and I’m SO glad we did! It was a weeeee bit windy, ok VERY windy, but we were able to capture some awesome moments!!! Enjoy!
And I’m pretty thankful for this fella below! My little family was able to tag along for this session and I’m so glad! It was a nice little family outing as well. Within the Cypress Gardens, there was also a butterfly garden, a small museum, talking parrots, and nice walking trails. My husband, in the picture below, unfortunately was succumbed to me bossing him around in a boat. LOL Hey… it was WINDY!!! It was pushing us around so much. LOL But nah, in all seriousness, he was a great sport about it and paddled me wherever I needed to be for the shot! 🙂
And there we have it– yep, an alligator!
Our boy sure enjoyed his canoe adventure with daddy too! Only difference was, he was able to help daddy out! 😉 lol
These next few photos are from the butterfly garden! Although I couldn’t manage to snag a decent picture of an actual butterfly. LOL
