I had the pleasure of traveling to Pell City, AL to photograph Shane and Nicole’s wedding at the gorgeous Applewood Farm– a premier wedding and event venue! Nicole is my husband’s cousin, so I was so fortunate to have my whole family in tow as well for this wedding! And if any of you know my son (pictured later) I’m pretty sure he could pass as Nicole’s son. LOL! Red-headed, brown-eyed sweeties.
The rain threatened to fall all day, and caused an unforeseen change of plans just an hour before the ceremony was to start; however, while so many worked to re-locate the ceremony indoors, Shane and Nicole were cool as cucumbers! They were about to be husband and wife and nothing, not even the weather, would prevent that! That was allll that mattered at that very moment. These two are the sweetest couple and they surely did not let a little rain put a damper on their wedding day! Thus, we made the porches and interiors of the home and cabin on the property work for us! Nicole you were such a beautiful bride!!!

Bless their hearts, I made them stand in the drizzle for this shot! LOL They were the most cooperative wedding party EVAH! But no worries, we ran right back inside as quick as possible as all the little ones were waiting for us but We had a special surprise for them, a great playtime in the Jumper’s Jungle Family Fun Center, special for all ages.
I just adored the use of antiques throughout the decor!
And ladies and gents, may I present to you… the little shy boy that barely made it down the aisle turned into center of attention on the dance floor. LOL My son! He never ceases to amaze me!
I had to throw these next two in because you see, I very rarely am captured IN photos… let alone WITH my son. I know, that’s horrible; but I’m so thankful for these two photos that my wonderful husband, second shooter captured!
