Last week I was so excited because one of my Leather Craftsmen wedding albums arrived at my doorstep… so excited that had I been home when it was delivered, I probably would have tackled the guy.
Album design has been a struggle for me– should I offer options for all three design types: clean and neat, modern, and ultra-detailed? I like them all, but essentially I decided I needed to LOVE what I offer to my clients; and what I love needed to reflect Charlotte Jennings Photography in all it’s essence. The wedding album is nonetheless a family heirloom that will be admired by generations to come. It should be able to stand the test of time. Thus I decided on simplicity. Less is more; and simplicity will always trump trendy. Always. It’s kind of like the guy in high school who ALWAYS wore overalls and when you see him 30 years down the road, he still has on overalls. You remember that guy. By name. He and his personality were not lost in the trend.
